The Story

Compatibility: Only compatible with Malcolm 6X Gen II Long Scope.

Included: The reticle is pre-installed within the brass housing tube.

(Note: The Malcolm 6X Gen II Long Scope ships from the factory with the 0.001" fine crosswire already installed.)

Reticle Replacement Procedure: To swap your reticle, follow these steps carefully:

  • Step 1: Disassemble. Remove the eyepiece and loosen the two set screws located on the reticle lock ring.

  • Step 2: Remove the Reticle Tube. Elevate the objective end of the scope to a maximum angle of 20 degrees. Carefully tap the objective end with a dead blow hammer, and be prepared to catch the brass reticle housing as it slides out of the eyepiece end.

  • Step 3: Handle with Care. Warning: Do not touch the exposed reticle wire. The wire is extremely fragile and will easily deform or break upon contact. Handle the assembly by the brass tube only.
